Personal:

  • Was raised by her mom and has two sisters and two brothers “who are all crazy”
  • Started playing soccer because – “My mom didn’t know what to do with me because I had/have so much energy so she decided to put me in every sport possible. Soccer and basketball were the only two that kept my interest because they were so fast paced.”
  • Most memorable achievement – “Getting drafted out of college because playing with the LA Sol was a dream come true. I was playing with players I had only seen on TV.”
  • Most memorable soccer moment – “Watching Marta play soccer for the first time! She is unbelievable. She scored on me the first practice. I think I was singing and laughing by the goal when all of a sudden she shot it. Everyone stopped and starting laughing and my coach yelled to me, “Hey Britt, welcome to the big leagues.” Needless to say, I stopped singing when she wasn’t on my team, I’ll tell you that much!”
