How Acquired: Open Tryouts (2016)


Collegiately, Danielle Schulmann played her freshman season at the University of Maryland before the New Jersey native made the move to Seton Hall University to play her sophomore campaign. She then transferred to the University of Connecticut, where she had a pair of highly successful seasons. Her junior year, she registered a team-leading 15 points and seven goals, adding one assist. During her senior campaign, she led the Huskies in goals (10), assists (7) and points (27).

Schulmann earned her way into the 2016 Sky Blue FC preseason by means of the team’s open tryouts, soon after earning a professional contract. Hampered by injury, she made three appearances during her rookie campaign.

A member of the Israel Women’s National Team, Schulmann is the daughter of internationally renown martial artist Tiger Schulmann, who owns and operates one of the most successful martial arts academies in the country.
