Lubos Ancin has spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program at Rutgers University, where he was charged with leading a goalkeeper corps that included recent Sky Blue FC draftee and U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team starter Casey Murphy. Additionally, he serves as Co-Director of Coaching for Goalkeepers at the Players Development Academy (PDA) and as the goalkeeper coach of Sky Blue – PDA, which is a U.S. Soccer Girls Development Academy partner of Sky Blue FC.

A former Rutgers goalkeeper as a player, Ancin immediately went into coaching after his collegiate career. He first served as an assistant head coach at the Paul Blodgett Goalkeeper Training School from 2004-14, and he brings additional experience as the assistant goalkeeper coach for the New Jersey Wildcats (USL W-League) and Robert Reasso Soccer School. Originally from Slovakia, Ancin moved to New Jersey in 2001. He was a member of the Slovakia Youth National Team while growing-up in his native country, and he also backstopped his club team to the Slovakian National Championship in 2000-01.
