  • Graduated with a B.S. in Product Design from the School of Engineering at Stanford
  • Currently launching a portable sound venture, Tiptop LLC, with two partners from Stanford. Tiptop produces the world’s first portable speaker that instantly transforms into a fully integrated sound system
  • Enjoys silversmithing, photography, and visual design
  • Loves board games, country music, skiing, fishing and reading
  • Was an officer in Kappa Kappa Gamma
  • Throughout college, tutored and read to at risk elementary school students and volunteered for the Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative, a weekly after-school program in which elementary school girls develop self-esteem and good health practice through athletics
  • Has an older sister, Haley, and a twin brother, Jake
  • Most memorable achievement – “After losing in the national championship game two years in a row, my most memorable achievement would have to be overcoming all of the adversities to win the title in 2011. To win our university’s first women’s soccer title while being surrounded by such great people is something I will never forget.”
  • Growing up, Thompson raised pigs in 4H and has been “the only hog market champion on any team I’ve ever played on.”
